  • OOV-Program of the DLR serves to bridge the gap between the product tested and qualified on ground and the utilization of the product in space.
  • The Technology Experiment Carrier (TET) comprises the core element of the OOV-Program.
  • Kayser-Threde served as Prime contractor for Phase C/D of the TET-1 mission including piggy-back launch.
  • TET satellite bus based on heritage of BIRD satellite bus.
  • Modular Payload Supply System newly developed by Kayser-Threde.
  • Open satellite structure allows for flexible payload accommodation.
  • Designed for mission durations up to one year.
