The core competence of the Business Unit 'Space Utilization' lies in the development of scientific payloads, small satellites and the utilization of most modern technologies in the field of communication, navigation, precise time measurement and robotics. This know-how is derived from 30 years of experience with space projects at Kayser-Threde. The experience includes the development, construction and operation of scientific and industrial payloads as well as the planning and carrying out of entire missions, both for manned and unmanned space flight.
